Photography captured my heart at age 10 when my dad showed me the wonders of the darkroom.
my story:I have been happily married to my soulmate for over 25 years, and I am a proud mother of three awesome sons. Of course, I cannot forget to mention my furry partner in crime, Archie, who is always ready for an adventure. My parakeet, Kiwi, is the loudest member of the household. If you hear her chirping in the background, don't worry, she just wants to join the conversation. Maui is my happy place. I mean, who wouldn't want to live in paradise? If I did not love San Diego so much, I would pack up my bags and move there in a heartbeat. Maybe someday I will, who knows! Champagne and sushi are two of my greatest loves. Maybe that's why I love shooting weddings so much - it's the perfect excuse to pop some bubbly and indulge in some raw fish. Photography has been my passion ever since my dad gave me my first film camera at the age of 10. I lived in Japan for 12 years and even performed on a stage there. Don't ask me to sing now though, it's not pretty! I'm always down for a road trip, especially if it involves fishing. There's just something about being out on the open water that's so freeing. Oh, and did I mention my love for hats? I have so many in my collection, and I want to wear them every day. And finally, a little secret between us - I cry at every wedding I shoot. Yes, every single one. I'm a total sap, and I can't help it. There's just something so beautiful about two people in love say "I do."
